“BULLDOG / CARDINAL CLASSIC “

We are pleased to announce that we have again teamed-up with the University of Louisville to put on one of the regions most exciting and competitive track and field events.   In 2008 we will have a two meet, in a one day format.  This new format will include (a) the collegiate division starting a 8:00 AM, and the (b) prep team division at 1:00 PM.  There will be no Elite Event  in 2008.

 

In light of all the travel restrictions being levied by a number of state school boards we hope the new format of a one day meet will reduce school travel expenses. 

 

All officials can park free in the Banta lot which is directly across the street from the new Yum Center.   Free parking will also be available at the throws area for officials.

 

In adding the collegiate division we believe the day will be more exciting for the High School athletics and the fans.  The Classic will begin on Saturday morning and end that same evening.

Officials that work our meet; will get credit for working a College meet as well as the High School’s meets. 

The uniform of the day is: white shirt, khaki pants, / skirt, White Shoes.  Starters should wear their red jackets or red shirts.

We would like all officials to check in at least 45 minutes before the start of the meet and pick up your garments, furnished by the Male High School Alumni and plan to report to your events’ area no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the event you have been assigned..  

The sight for Saturday will be at the University of Louisville Track and Field complex.  We try to give as many of you as possible your first choice for assignments.
